Fund Raising Kicks Off

A team of artists and performers are planning on taking our team sculpture, Byron's Telescope to , Burning Man 2011, Rites of Passage. We have decided it is our imperative to bring this sculpture to the playa in order to assist as many travelers as possible in thier journey. Our plan is to put Byron on a trailer, towed by a box truck, and travel across country  from Charlottesville, VA to the Black Rock Dessert of Nevada where Burning Man is held, VA. The sculpture will be on display while travelling the highways through the midsection of North America during the three to four day journey. The money raised through Kickstarter will be used for renting a truck, trailer, and the fuel costs associated with the journey. Also, Byron is a work in progress and needs some additional funds for maintenance and upgrades. Please help the team and Byron to get to Burning Man by clicking on this link: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/263343238/byrons-telescope-journey-to-burning-man.
Thank you in advance for your help.
